Essence Magical Forest Palette Review

Hello! I bought a new eyeshadow palette and I would love to give a review on it😄 I’ve been looking at eye shadow palettes that come with various vibrant colors like blue, green, orange, pink, and more but they’re always so expensive. The one I really want is the take me to Brazil eyeshadow palette but I’ll have to wait until I get a job to buy that. I went to Ulta yesterday and bought the Essence all about the Magical forest palette for only $5.49

Eyeshadow Palette

I was expecting the eyeshadows to have a rough texture where I’d have to press down hard with my brush to get any pigment. Instead, the texture is smooth. It’s between a cotton bed sheet and a silky material and my brush picks up the color easily but not as much as I would like it to. The colors are somewhat vibrant. After a few layers the color pops up more. This is my result from sweeping over the colors once .

This might just be me but I noticed that the product works better with eyeshadow primer. The color shows up more and helps it to stay on better.

Without the primer, it easily wipes off. It also has some fall out where the color would fall onto my lashes making it seem like I’m wearing colored mascara.

Overall, I do enjoy this product. I love the colors! It does have flaws but the eyeshadow primer fixes my problems I mentioned. Except for the fall out. Even if you don’t use eyeshadow primer, it’s perfect to wear when you want a subtle effect and perfect to use if you’re not too into wearing so much color.

Thanks for reading! I’d love to read any comments you have! I hope to see you again in another post 😄. Bye! 👋🏻
